In 18 days I will be here, and this is the only monument or historical excursion I will make my friend Karen take me on.
Just have to take a pic so I can tell my dad I was there just for him. AND I promised Small Fry I would not take one step in any Smithsonian Museum without him.
We WILL see more than just this one monument, Cher, if only because they're kind of all crammed in together over by Vietnam. We don't have to go to them all, especially if you're saving monuments for a trip with the boys, but at the very least we need to walk up the steps and say hi to Mr. Lincoln. He's my fave.
